Slide Show Quilt

I call this project a quilt because it is the bringing together of several code projects. The ability to pull images out of a server directory is built upon on Max's slideshow. The code to center and position the images comes from Stephen Bucaro's article Slide Show with Different Size Images. The actual slide show uses the jQuery plugin Cycle by malsup. The lightbox is a jquery plugin by Leandro Vieira Pinho.

Features

1. Pulls the desired photos from a server directory, formats include jpeg, gif and png.

2. Presents the photos  in their original size

3.  If the photo exceeds a maximum size then the photo is rescaled to fit within the maximum size.

4.  The scaled photo can be clicked on to present the full size photo in a shadow box.

5.  Controls to control the slide show.

6.  Configuration includes the ability specify image directory, time between slides, the maximum image size for slide show, transition style, the ability to display the slide show controls, and the ability to display the shadow box.
